Move Out / Check-Out

Move Out information and Check Out Procedures

We wish to confirm that your current tenancy with us ends.

Here are some helpful Notes for your kind attention, and all house or flat mates, who may plan to vacate earlier than the above date.

In order to allow this Lease Condition and have your Deposit Release authorised, to note also the following:-

1. In order to carry out the necessary inspection we require the whole premises to be ready for handing back by not later than 1.00 PM.

  • Late Key returns and additional inspection visits if required through the premises being uncompleted will be Charged for.

2. Ensure that your own full set of house and room keys, labelled with your name, address and room number has been returned, by hand.

  • If you are moving out before that date you must have cleaned and locked up your room and carried out your share of communal cleaning.
  • Place under the room door, once you have completed.

– DO NOT take your keys other than to the premises, as they remain your responsibility.

  • All of the accommodation, inside and outside, must be fully cleaned, cleared of rubbish and belongings, switched off, and secured using all the locks provided, before we can inspect.

– For kitchens, TRY http://www.ovengleam.com/ .

  • If any aspect of the premises requires our Contractors’ attention this will cause delays and charges against your Deposit refunds.
  • If the premises are not to the required standard you may also incur a pro-rata rental charge for the time taken to remedy this.

3. All of the Important Moving Out tasks are detailed in the Information notes, below, for you to check through in good time.
